After several “near miss*” incidents, i’ve decided that i seriously need to pack my wardrobe. *near miss refers to buying the same/similar pieces of clothing

ok, maybe it’s not so much of the near miss incidents, but because i was inspired by today’s urban paper- topic on walk-in wardrobes, and i am also getting really bored from staying at home for the past 4 n 1/2 days (mc u see..)

anyway, i seriously need a walk-in wardrobe!! just look at my puny one, made from a few pieces of nicely painted white wooden planks put tgth in a few hours by a few men. damn..

packing was a real headache, but i managed to squeeze my clothes in. had to throw out some stuff though, think that’s pretty obvious.

but my happiness was short-lived; i realised there were more on the floor!!!

Just when i said my life was dull, smth happened.

Nth exactly interesting or fun, but kinda scary.

I almost burnt my microwave.

Was suppose to warm up food in the microwave for 10mins but within 8mins, smells of burnt, charred food started coming out of the microwave. When i open the door of the microwave, thick yellow smoke started to fill the entire kitchen.

Shit-tel  Singtel’s customer service is atrocious, they have really unpleasent, blunt and impatient ppl who doesnt seem to know their work.

I’ve recently upgraded handsets for 2 of my handphone lines. On the following day, I received news update from Reuters for both the handphone lines.

I then called in to 1626 where I was attended by “Silmi” who told me that upon the upgrade, a 30 days trial for color me tones and Reuters news update will be received.

When I told her that I was not informed of the trials beforehand, i.e. during the upgrading of handset, she told me off that I should have read what I had signed during the upgrading of equipment.

I later told her that I wanted the 30 days trial for color me tones and Reuters news update to be cancelled for both handphone lines. Also, I asked if my $4 monthly rebate for continuation with Singtel after the expiry of my contract would be affected.

She told me that the $4 rebate will still continue, but my line (contract) would be extended by another year. Does that mean that my line has now become a 3 year contract (2 years from signing up for the rebate, plus another 1 year for upgrading the handset)?

From what I know, the terms and conditions under the monthly rebate stated that it will cease the rebate upon upgrading of the handset, so is the terms and conditions written wrongly? Or has the customer service officer given me the wrong information?

Before I ended my call with Silmi, I asked her again, if the 30 days trial for color me tones and Reuters news update was cancelled for both lines. She replied “yes”, and I thanked her repeatedly.

On the next day, 1 of my handphone line still received the Reuters news update.

I called 1626 again and spoke to “Ida”. She told me that I have only requested a discontinuation for 30 days trial for color me tones for both lines, and discontinuation Reuters news update for only 1 of the lines.

I told her that I have requested for discontinuation for 30 days trial for color me tones and Reuters news update for both of lines, but she insisted that my request on the previous day was not so. What’s worse is that she actually wanted to argue with me on that.

I told her that it’s probably not her fault, and I know it has nothing to do with her, but she seemed eager to defend her colleague. So I spent the next few minutes trying to convince her that I’m not blaming any1, I just want to cancel the trial!

Towards the end of our conversation, she then changed her words and said that I have discontinued my 30 days trial for color me tones for 1 number, and discontinuation Reuters news update for both numbers. That is to say, she got mixed up and nothing right was done.

What is this?

It is really irritating that a simple assignment cant be carried out correctly even after repeated reminders, and the customer officers are so inconsistent in whatever they are say. Are they properly trained?

The world is truely unfair. There are people out there who are capable of doing work, desperately looking for a job. Yet incompetent people who cant even follow simple instructions are employed. Worse still, these incompetent people behave so rude and impatiently (they also cut me off while I was talking)!

Mothers’ day was basically a day spent on eating. We went to Yum Cha at Chinatown in the late morning and I saw this at 1 of the shops:

It was no place fancy (obviously coz it’s at TPY) but the seat that we got was pretty nice. BYO (bring your own __wine__)too.

On many occasions when i join the queue at the cafeteria, i get stares by those ppl dressed in formal work clothes. It’s the type of uncomfortable stare downs that makes one feel really out of place. Some of them dont even dare to come near me when i’m in the queue it seems.

Once, i accidently brushed against this guy’s sleeves, i can sense him moving away like he’s been brushed against by a toilet brush. I dont smell or anything even though I’m in my long sleeves, long pants uniform. And u know what again? I think he is also a student from MSE on attachment.

Well, at least now i know how technicians in "uniform" feel like.

.. “Work life” is tiring.. and boring.. I’m tired on weekdays.. and weekends are for recuperating.

A 2-day weekend is really not enough for 1) meeting up with friends, 2) shopping, 3) spending time with family and 4) recuperating. Out of the 4, I guess no. 4) is best as it means I can spend some time with my family too.

Btw recuperating means surfing the net which leads to what I’m gonna write about. I recently viewed the profile of some ppl from my primary n secondary school and I must say I’m surprised by how some ppl have grown to be.

I’m talking in terms of physical appearance (who says only men are visual animals?) and maturity. So many of my gal friends have grown prettier!! (Why am I still looking like a dork? I’m so jealous!! As always..) And some of the guys have turned into hunks!!

What I’m really surprised at is how stupid GANGSTERS in my schools, particularly sickening D.school, have grown out of their gangster phase. I’m not directing this to anyone so.. no offense. If there is any, it’s probably self admittance. I purely have no intention of “hinting” to anybody especially to my “friends”.

Back to growing out of that phase; I see that some of them regret their hateful ways, others simply move on to become better people. I guess there will be some who are still stuck there.. but well.. that can only be linked to one thing. STUPIDITY.

Obviously I am prejudiced against them. Wrong, it should be I seem prejudiced against them, because I have a reason to be. They made certain stage of my life hell, and therefore I hate them.

There is 1 gal I remember distinctly. Her name is snow stop (direct translation from Mandarin). I personally feel that the name SHIT-TING would be more suitable for her. I hope she is still as ugly and idiot looking as before. But no matter what she looks like now, she’ll always be a little piece of crap to me.

She might not remember me because I’m probably just one of the many she bullied but I will always remember her for what she did. Well, CONGRATS to her!! That will be her biggest achievement in life.

Great, now a 2-day weekend is really not enough as I have to spend more time recuperating because I wasted so much energy being angry.

P.S. u know I’m just kidding when I wrote tat I’m always jealous and I’m feigning energy lost to being angry rite??
